One of our teachers was seen crossing the finish line at Motutapu.
On the second Saturday of March 2010 it was the motutapou. It went from Wanaka to Arrowtown. It has a minors trail and a marathon. The marathon was 50 Km the minors was only 15 Km. It started at 9:00 (nine o’clock) and finished more than 4 hours later.
The minors trail started before the marathon because more marathon runners are faster than some the minors trail runners. Some got at the least 2 hours. Some Australians did it as well as some New Zealanders.
I know two people that did it they were my mum and my dad’s workmate.
